About Desert Home Guardian Services
Owners Diane and Pete Santiago started an insured, bonded, and NHWA accredited home watch, concierge, and vacation rental assistance company to provide homeowners’ peace of mind when they are away from their Arizona residence. They are highly experienced business professionals as they spent their careers in Fortune 50 companies and transferred from Florida to Arizona in 1991. They found their first home in Paradise Valley, later moved to Scottsdale, and currently reside full time in Fountain Hills. They are veterans of Arizona living and know every nook and cranny this beautiful desert state has to offer. Because of their caring persona and knowledge of Arizona businesses and suppliers, Pete and Diane became the ‘go to folks’ for family, friends, and acquaintances when home services were needed. Due to the pure enjoyment of this ‘go-to role’ the Santiago’s formed Desert Home Guardian Services. They speak snowbird, as many of their customer are part time residents.
Being travelers themselves, Pete and Diane understand how important trusted and committed care is to a homeowner, whether they are taking a vacation, a six-month get-away to cooler climate or traveling outside of the state for their job. Their dedication to relationships and diligent home care is demonstrated by ‘walking in your shoes’. Desert Home Guardian Services are accredited members of the National Home Watch Association. Diane and Pete have received the Certified Home Watch Professional designation awarded by the NHWA. Diane serves as a member of the NHWA Advisory Board and chairs the Membership Committee. Additionally, they are A+ rated members of the Better Business Bureau.
